Announcing Arjun Singh as our Staff Blog Writer

Shrapnel enthusiastically welcomes Arjun Singh to our team as Staff Blog Writer! He will be writing weekly blog articles on everything from Canadian book news, listicles you didn’t know you needed, and playful dives into little-known literary history.

Arjun Singh is an emerging writer located in the Greater Toronto Area who works at a consulting firm and in government communications. Having graduated with a degree in English Literature, Political Science and Creative Writing, Arjun found writing as an outlet in his third year of university.

He writes prose and screenplays, and is currently hard at work on a novel and a short story collection. An avid reader, Arjun has an ambitious goal of reading 60 books every year (and we’re rooting for him!). Arjun was published in the Humber Literary Review's Spotlight edition in Spring 2022.

We look forward to the creativity and community that Arjun will bring to the blog articles Shrapnel publishes.

is a Canadian media and publishing enthusiast who works as a literary assistant at P.S. Literary Agency as well as the editorial director of Shrapnel Magazine. She’s worked in publishing for over six years at places such as Simon and Schuster, Arsenal Pulp Press, PRISM International, Greystone Books, and This Magazine. She’s lived in Canada, the UK, and Japan.
