Announcing Angie Barrios as our Social Media Coordinator

Shrapnel enthusiastically welcomes Angie Barrios to our team as Social Media Coordinator! She will be leading the way in terms of social media strategy and ensuring our backlist stories and articles continue to get the love and attention they deserve.

Angie is a multi-media designer specializing in film and video production. She also enjoys working as a graphic designer and social media coordinator, creating and nurturing a community through social media. Outside of work, Angie enjoys painting and trying out cultural dishes from around the world.

We look forward to the energy and social media savvy that Angie will bring to Shrapnel’s Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.

Jo Ramsay

is a Canadian media and publishing enthusiast who works as a literary assistant at P.S. Literary Agency as well as the editorial director of Shrapnel Magazine. She’s worked in publishing for over six years at places such as Simon and Schuster, Arsenal Pulp Press, PRISM International, Greystone Books, and This Magazine. She’s lived in Canada, the UK, and Japan.
